Some are thin, some are big, but most sit somewhere in the middle!
Make the commitment to change some lifestyle habits and allow yourself plenty of time to see your goals achieved over a realistic time frame!
In addition, accept the fact of what shape your body is naturally.....not the result of bad nutrition or lack of exercise, but your true shape!!
You are designed beautifully to be a certain size, shape and physiology!
Even if your natural shape isn't skinny...... feel good about it, Embrace it!!
And simply focus on being a fitter, healthier you!!
And as long as you are fit, with optimal health, and feel great in your skin, then you've nailed it!
If a naturally curvaceous & voluptuous female client tells me her aim is to reach some crazily tiny and unattainable dress size for her body shape, I will tell her honestly, that she's aiming for the wrong results!
Strong is the new skinny don't you know! And imperfections are the new perfect!
Fall in love with your reflection, because it's probably been unloved for too long!
I accept the fact I have big thighs and not much of a waist, so I keep my leg weights low, but do a lot of leg cardio with cycling & swimming to keep them under control and lengthening exercise such as yoga and pilates to keep them gently muscular.
My waist, well I have stretch marks and as much as I train my obliques, a boyish figure is the shape I was given....and I've learned to love it, because, when all's said and done, my body has provided a safe, nurturing environment for my 4 beautiful children, allows me to keep up with them (and trust me, they're energetic little blighters) every day and performs extraordinary tasks every second of every day! As does every other human body out there!
Once you accept your body's natural shape, enhance it, bring up to it's optimal fitness level....some of our fittest recruits have embraced their natural body shape, whatever their size, worked hard and have awesome cardio, strength, endurance and flexibility levels!!
