This low impact exercise programme, created by Joseph Pilates during the early 1900’s, primarily focuses on the deep 'core' muscles within the body and assists in providing a strong postural foundation.
A series of focused, slow and measured movements that improve posture, flexibility, muscle strength and general well being.
Pilates also teaches coordination, concentration, control and can also offer benefits such as increased lung capacity, and lean, sculpted physique.

Yoga is a traditional physical and mental discipline, which originated in India approximatly 5000 years ago.
Hatha Yoga is the most common form of yoga practised in the UK today and concentrates largely on physical health and mental well-being.
By using slow, measured movements and stretching, it is excellent for increasing flexibility and balance and is also recommended for relieving stress and improving a peaceful mind.
With approximately 200 Hatha yoga postures and variations, yoga is fantastic for promoting a supple spine, improved circulation throughout the whole body and increasing relaxation.
Suitable for all ages and fitness levels and recommended to those with joint problems, flexibility problems and post-partum mums.
