If you have any other questions that we aren't covered on this page,
please don't hesitate to email
us for further information.
- Will Bootcamp Revolution sessions involve being shouted at like in the army?
No, exercise should be about fun, getting results, reaching your targets with encouragement and having a healthy dose of fun. Bootcamp Revolution run a very sociable camp where a laugh, a joke and your own 100% effort are the only things we insist on!
If you're still a little scared, please give us a call for a chat then you'll see we're not that scary!
- I've signed up and paid for my chosen method of attendance, what do I do now?
Firstly, welcome to the frontline of fitness! On joining us, there are NO hidden extras as with gyms – you get exactly what you pay for.
We will send you a ParQ form, which you need to complete and bring with you to your first session. This allows our instructors to ensure you are given the right level of exercise, encouragement and takes in to account any injuries or illnesses you may have.
If you have chosen our Bootcamp Revolution Unlimited package, your monthly standing order will be taken from your back account every month and you can attend as many sessions as you wish.
If you have chosen our Dog Tags Scheme (10 sessions), you will be given a 'Dogtag' card which is marked off by the instructor every time you attend a session. The Dogtags must be used within 3 months of purchase (well, we have to give you some incentive!!) Once you have attended 9 sessions, you will be given the opportunity to purchase another dog tag – it's that simple.
- I want to reduce my body fat – will Bootcamp Revolution sessions do this for me?
Absolutely, but as with anything in life, you will only get out what you put in. This doesn't just apply to your workout regime, this also means your diet. If you want real results, check out our
Healthy Eating page and get further information on nutritionally balanced, healthy, tasty meals, recipe ideas and nutrition plans.
- I have an injury or am currently taking medication, is it ok for me to attend?
Please refer to your Doctor before participating in any form of exercise but if you would like some advice from Bootcamp Revolution Instructors, feel free to email us at
info@BootcampRevolution.co.uk and you can ask us any specific questions or address any concerns you may have regarding your fitness and health.
- What do I need to bring with me to a Bootcamp Revolution session?
Nature has no lockers so PLEASE leave your valuables at home and bring as little as possible to carry so you can move freely and worry about less!
Water is available to purchase at our launch point and at the Bootcamp Revolution Assault course but you may wish to bring your own – most importantly, stay hydrated throughout your workout!
- What do I wear?
Anything comfortable! Good supportive trainers are really important as you will be running on uneven ground. We generally recommended you cover your legs as there are ropes included on the assault course and they can be a little rough against the skin. You also might want to wear trainers that you don't mind getting wet! We supply gloves onsite if you want to protect your hands. BOOTCAMP REVOLUTION also has a clothing line available to purchase.
- If it rains, what happens?
YOU GET WET!!! Fitness waits for no man (or woman!) and your body will work harder to heat itself and you'll have extra resistance to work against so in answer to the question 'what happens?' THE ANSWER IS – YOU'LL WORK HARDER!!!
- As spaces are limited to 16 people per session, how can I guarantee my space?
Email
bookings@bootcamprevolution.co.uk with your chosen session slots for the following week. Don't worry if you don't book in though, you can try your luck and we'll fit you in if we can!
WE KINDLY ASK YOU TO LET US KNOW IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO ATTEND A SESSION YOU HAVE BOOKED AS WE RUN A WAITING LIST SYSTEM, THANKYOU.
- I'm pretty unfit and a bit nervous about attending my first session, will I be ok?
Yes, you'll be fine; Abilities, ages, fitness levels, height, weight...every person is different and you will work at your own pace. All we ask is that you give your own personal 100%.
Bootcamp Revolution instructors are trained to encourage, guide and advise you through all the exercises and as Bootcamp is a group activity you will find that you'll all support each other.
Everyone is nervous the first time they attempt something new, its human nature, but we guarantee, by the end of your first session you'll be checking out which session you can come to next!!
